ART RETREAT WITH ANJI TIMLIN

Mixed media travel journaling and painting retreat with Anji Timlin.

Come and join us in this peaceful, magical and little known region of southern France. Anji will guide and support you throughout and you’ll come home refreshed and relaxed with a host of new friends, new art skills, and bucket loads of new found confidence!

About Anji

Anji is a landscape painter who is based in Haworth on the edge of the Pennine hills in Yorkshire. She exhibits regularly in Yorkshire especially around Leeds and Harrogate and in the Dales. She won the Joan Day prize for painting in 2019 and was a finalist in the Jackson’s Art Prize in London this year. Anji works in a large scale in her own paintings and as part of creating them, she works outside to collect memories and impressions in her sketchbooks using mixed media. She loves to share her techniques with students as another very important part of her practice is teaching painting and drawing workshops and facilitating mindful art classes.

“Had a brilliant time at your workshop Anji. I never thought I could paint anything! The gouache paints were glorious and with your guidance I found how to mix the colours perfectly as well as use your clever techniques. Thank You! We’ll be back for more!” Lucy
