The Space Between..

August 8th – August 13th, 2027

Hike, Dip and Yoga Retreat

We’re bringing together a group of women for a restorative break in the beautiful French Pyrenees.

We’ll walk, swim, stretch, eat and explore together, with the freedom to find your own pace along the way.

There’ll be time to move, time to breathe, time to talk and time to do absolutely nothing at all.

Some days will be adventurous.
Some will be slow.
Most will probably be somewhere in between.

No timetable.
No agenda.
No pressure.

If you enjoy being outside, with a group of like-minded people, in a safe environment and beautiful surroundings, this retreat is for you. You’ll enjoy it all the more if you don’t take yourself too seriously. It’s also ideal for those who want the simple pleasure of having nowhere else to be.

Between hikes, dips and yoga sessions, you’ll have time and space to:

  • Read in peace and quiet, with no distractions
  • Sketch or journal
  • Wander in tranquil French countryside
  • Sit quietly with a cup of something warm or a glass of something cold
  • Do absolutely nothing

Your guides

Rhian

Rhian is a passionate Pilates instructor and the founder of Essence Studio, bringing warmth, and mindfulness to her teaching.

Her own journey with Pilates began after the birth of her daughter 18 years ago and has remained a cornerstone of her wellbeing ever since. She believes movement should leave you feeling stronger, more connected and more at home in your body, not pressured or pushed.

Alongside Pilates, Rhian has a deep love of wild swimming and the restorative power of being outdoors. She brings this same sense of connection, calm and adventure to her retreats, creating beautiful spaces for guests to move, breathe, reset and reconnect.

Expect mindful movement, nurturing guidance, lots of laughter, and plenty of time to simply enjoy being you.

Amanda

Amanda is a yoga teacher and founder of Surrey Souls, with a teaching style rooted in warmth, inclusivity, creativity and a genuine sense of joy.

Originally trained in Ashtanga and also qualified in Yin and Restorative yoga, Amanda draws from a broad range of practices to create classes that feel intuitive, considered and responsive. On retreat, she will guide flowing Vinyasa practices alongside slower, restorative sessions and meditation, creating a balance between energising movement and opportunities to soften, pause and reconnect.

There is a strong sense of fun within Amanda’s teaching, too. Expect thoughtful movement and moments of quiet, alongside creativity, playfulness and permission not to take yourself too seriously. Her classes are spaces to explore, breathe, move and connect, with the hope that you leave feeling more grounded, a little lighter and genuinely glad you showed up.

The retreat includes:

  • 5 nights full board accommodation (breakfast, lunch and dinner), in twin rooms
  • Daily Group Yoga, Pilates and Relaxation classes and tuition
  • Airport transfers
  • Transport during the retreat
  • Daily excursions – gentle hikes and wild dips
